“ We found Pasta Bella our first night in Bologna and it was fantastic! My husband had traditional pasta bolognese and it was excellent. I'm still dreaming of the tortelloni with lemon and mint that I had. Yum. We returned again later in the week for a second meal and decided it as our favorite restaurant in Bologna. Our servers, David & Diego were both friendly and engaging. Don't let the "indoor atmosphere" (overly bright and unappealing) deter you from taking a cosy spot on their sidewalk patio and enjoying fantastic local pasta. Management: a few small changes to your interior (softer lighting & the additional simple decor like greenery and baskets) could easily add the necessary curb appeal to draw the type of business that your direct neighbors enjoy. We ate at the place down the lane with the long line and agreed that our food experience at Pasta Bella was much better. ”

Had Tagliatelle and the green lasagna, both with 6 hour slow cooked bolognese ragu, and house made pasta….delicious!!!especially melt in mouth lasagna. Our waitress Viola was fantastic, recommended an excellent matching red wine (best we’ve had in 12 days in Italy) and welcoming attentive and friendly service!! Her offsider Pari also a lovely girl!! Very reasonably priced too ( and one cute white waiter told me he is originally from Chile and he said he loves to )visit Hong Kong and see Faye Wong , but I reminded him that faye wong is now living in Beijing ”
